web mistakes

I've read that the resolution for designs and pictures for the web are 72 pixels and not 96 or 300 pixels. Most people come from print design and graphic design and than into web design and make these common mistakes. When typing a paragraph on the web you should stick with web safe fonts. also on font size you have to use whole numbers and not half numbers, for example not 1.5 it has to be 2 or 1. When using layers in your PSD files, make sure you are using them and not taking up space with unwanted layers on your file. Always name your layer or groups in the PSD file.
